Hip Hop Charts 14th To 21st April 2007

The album charts have received two new entries entering at numbers 2 and 3. Beyonce B'Day reaches the number one position escalating from last week's number 32, followed closely by Paul Wall Get Money Stay True and new debutant Timbaland presenting shock value at the number 2 slot.

Last week's number one Young Buck slips3 positions to number 4 and Mims fades away to number 9 following a successful week at number 2. Elsewhere, Akon makes it 21 weeks on the album chart, settling at number 7.

The singles chart sees very little movement this week with the top 3 positions once again locked by the same artists. Robin Thicke remains Lost Without U, at the top position. Musiq Soulchild continue to dominate the second position with Buddy, closely followed by R Kelly / Bow Wow

Akon advances two places to number 5, due to airplay gains, whilst Ne-Yo from Def Jam records, enters the top 10 from previous week's number 11 Because of You

Young buck album is hot but I think it shouldve sold more records because its better than that other wack shit that sold hellaz
