Posted on March 21, 2012 by

50 Cent has updated the world on the imminent release of his new album, which he claims sounds better than his 2003 hit, Get Rich or Die Tryin'. The title of the album and guest appearance details are both unknown, but 50 Cent did announce the intended release date via his Twitter account.

"My album is coming out July 2. I got some heat trust me I'm ready."

"My birthdays July 6 so that's a cool date for ME. Its gonna be July2 album, july4 Independence Day, then july6 my birthday."

50 Cent had previously disclosed a list of producers who would be working with him on his new album.

"Production-wise man, I got some Boi-1da joints," 50 said. "I did some stuff with Alex da Kid. I worked with [Eminem] -- well, he didn't actually produce the record this time, but we worked together. On the record, we recorded a few joints. I worked with Frank Dukes, and he came with some pieces for me this g-round." (XXL Mag)

The rapper admitted that internal problems with Interscope Records had delayed his plans, with not everyone pulling in the same direction to make things happen.
