50 cent is widely expected to star in new film, Righteous Kill, playing the role of a drug dealer.

The rapper will be in good company as both Al Pacino and Robert De Niro will also play feature roles in the film, on the other side of the law starring as cops.

"I'm not even sure they know yet," 50 Cent told the New York Daily News. "Me and Robert were supposed to shoot a film where I played a police officer, but now Al and Robert play the cops."

The film revolves around the attempts to convict 50 cent's character whilst settling their own personal vendettas.

The film, written by Russell Gewirtz, is expected not to hit theaters until 2008.
