Beanie Sigel was released from a Philadelphia hospital following the recent incident where he was shot during an attempted robbery, incurring gun shot wounds to both arms.
Sigel drove away from the hospital with a towel over his head and one of his arms held in a sling.
Sigel informed police that five black men in two vehicles cornered him before a bearded man in jeans and boots opened fired, shooting the rapper once in his upper-right arm and then a few of his posessions taken from him.
The rapper's injuries were monitored and he was given permission to leave. The investigation is yet to pinpoint the exact location of the incident.
Beanie has allegedly returned to the studio only days after the shooting occured. He is said to be hard at work on his new album and remains determined to retain the original release date schedule.
A song is expected to be released this weekend, and could possibly feature recent events.
