City of LA order to pay up Biggy

On January 20th, a federal court judged ordered the city of LA to pay the sum of $1.1 million to the late Notorious BIG's family.
The ruling stems from the fact that evidence was intentionally held back during the family's civil lawsuit trial.
"It's pretty clear from the ruling that the judge understands this is a significant and difficult case," said Perry Sanders, an attorney for the rapper's family.
The amount expected by the family was $2 million, so the $0.9 million deficit came as a shock, but an additional $300,000 may be received at a later date depending on future trials.
The death in 1997 of Notorious BIG, is yet to be solved and the constant tribulations surrounding his death continue.
