Dazed and confused meets pioneers

Houston Hip Hop has been bubbling under rap's radar since the mid 1980's with little commercial success. However, thanks to figures like Mike Jones and Paul Wall, The H-Town sound has begun to re-define the sound of commercial Hip Hop. Dazed takes a walk through the City of Syrup to meet some of the pioneers that paved the way for the Texan rap revolution.
"I dropped my first album in 89. What I'm doing now, nobody's gonna hear until years down the line, I just grind it and grind it for years, non-stop.
