Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner sentenced Jimmy James Johnson, 27, to one year in county jail, which also includes a three year probation for the charge.
Allegedly, Johnson approached Dre (Andre Young) for an autograph before attacking Dre, in what is believed to have been an unprovoked attack. Other G-Unit members were involved until the incident cooled down.
It is belived that G-Unit member Young Buck stabbed James Johnson in retaliation to Johnson?s assault of Dre. Johnson suffered a collapsed lung in the aftermath of the attack and was immediately taken to hospital.
Young Buck awaits trial for the alleged stabbing, but has a pretrial motion on September 26th at Airport Branch Courthouse in Santa Monica.
A judge decree also prevents Johnson from going in close proximity to Dr. Dre for three years from now.
