Fans File 15 Million Lawsuit Against Boo Yaa Tribe

Posted on March 24, 2008 by

Three fans have filed a $15 million lawsuit against Boo Yaa Tribe and rocker Kid Rock. The suit was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court claiming that the artists had assaulted them after they asked for their autographs. Allegedly, Michael Medlin, Carlos Bonilla and Jose Perez were waiting outside Hollywood hotspot Teddy's at the Roosevelt Hotel with an autograph book and cameras in an effort to see the artists and receive their autographs and a quick photograph. The fans were then allegedly attacked after the artists emerged from the club and approached by their fans.

The fans all claim that they were both beaten and kicked by Kid Rock and The Boo Yaa Tribe after trying to receive their photographs and autographs. They further claim that their own cameras were taken from them and thrown into the back of the Limo belonging to Kid Rock, whilst they were all left abandoned on the pavement whilst the artists all drove away from the incident.

The three fans are seeking compensation for personal injury, and also negligence against the Roosevelt Hotel for failing to "supervise, patrol, or monitor the area outside Teddy's Night Club". As of yet, neither Kid Rock nor The Boo Yaa Tribe have been available to comment.
