Ghostface new album and action figure
Posted on January 13, 2006
Wu-Tang member, Ghostface Killah, is due to release a new album shortly, set to be entitled 'Fishscale'. The rappers landmark fifth album, which will be released on Def Jam recordings, is a statement that he is still in the game and is capable of matching if not exceeding any other albums at present.
"Fishscale is just me showing that I can still ball with the best of them," Ghost exclaimed. "With each album I learn, so this album has the most knowledge of all of them."
Back Like That is predicted to be the lead off single, if things go to plan and this particular track is a story of an ex who has been hanging around with an enemy. The track will feature Ne-Yo, an emerging R&B artist who was more than happy to be selected to perform on the album.
"Ghostface is one of the most original hip-hop artists around," Ne-Yo recently told MTV News. "He's a legend. Just to be considered for the song was an honor. He's true hip-hop."
If all goes according to plan, then the album should be available on 28th February.
Meanwhile, Ghost also has a more unusual release coming soon. It comes in the form of a 9" tall figurine of himself with real gold jewelry, more of which can be found at The Ghost Face Doll
