Jadakiss was arrested on October 7th on suspicion of weapon possession, following a traffic stop at his hometown in New York.

Jadakiss was accompanied by 4 other men in the vehicle and after an inspection of the vehicle by police a loaded handgun was found, according to police reports.

The officers proclaimed that the driver appeared uneasy and on edge prior to inspection and there was also a strong smell of marijuana within the vehicle which both contributed to a forced search.

Inside, police found a loaded .38 caliber revolver which had been reported stolen prior to the incident.

Jadakiss was also charged with possession of marijuana whilst the driver was charged with driving under the influence.

The group will remain in jail until their hearing this Tuesday, which will be Jadakiss' second similar offence within a 2 year period.
