Jay Z Becomes First Solo Artist At Carnegie Hall

Jay-Z is set to perform two shows at the Carnegie Hall in New York City. He announced the news at a press conference in New York City, stating that he would be performing on February 6th and 7th at the Carnegie Hall in New York City.

"It's every artists dream to play a venue as legendary as Carnegie Hall," he said. "The fact that I can use the arts and my talent to benefit the education of the next generation of artists, entrepreneurs and great thinkers makes for a legendary night. I'm proud to be a part of the continuing work of United Way of New York City and expanding the Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation."

The appearance will see Jay-Z break yet another record, as he becomes the first solo Hip Hop artist to perform at this magnificent venue. Tickets are set to go on sale privately from 12th December, and expanding to public sale from January 30th at 11 a.m.
