Juvenile's daughter was recently killed and further details are beginning to surface concerning the murder. Anthony Tyrone Terrell Jr. has been charged with three counts of murder and three counts of aggravated assault. The alleged killings include his mother, Gwinnet County Sheriff's Deputy Joy Deleston, aged 39, and both her daughters Micaiah, 11, and Juvenile's daughter Jelani, 4.
The bodies were reported to have been found on Thursday in Lawrenceville, outside Atlanta. The Associated Press has since reported that the hip hop star's manager, Aubrey Francis, has spoken out stating that Juvenile is naturally "shocked and devastated" and is struggling to come to terms with the loss.
"It really shocked him and devastated him to the point where I've never seen him before," Francis said. "Right now he is relaxing and trying to grasp everything of what has happened." Juvenile's attorney, Randy Kessler, claims that he has not spoken to the rapper since the incident. "Any time you have a situation like that, it's shocking," Kessler said.
Illana Spellman, spokeswoman for Lawrenceville Police, has suggested that Terrell was taken into custody at nearby DeKalb County jail, favouring this jail over Gwinnet County's since Deleston was a deputy in this area.
Terrell remains in the confines of DeKalb County Jail where a preliminary hearing is to be set next week, though the death penalty is not an option, due to the age of Terrell.
