Luther vandross passes away

The music world are paying their tributes to the r&b legend luther vandross. Luther vandross passed away friday due to a previous stroke which he never fully recovered from. The singer was pronounced dead at 1:47 pm at the jfk medical center in edison new jersey. Information about the exact way which he passed have yet to be confirmed.

"luther vandross had a peaceful passing under the watchful eye of friends, family and the medical support team," read a statement released by the hospital. "as you know, luther vandross suffered a stroke two years ago, which he never fully recovered from. Throughout his illness, luther received excellent medical care and attention from his medical team. Luther was deeply touched by all the thoughts and wishes from his fans."

vandross will be deeply missed by all music fans as his presence was great in the world of music. He was well respected in all genres and has trully inspired a lot of todays artists.

The singer has combatted weight problems, hypertension and diabetes, throughtout his vast career, which consequently led to a stroke that put him in a coma for nearly two months back in april of 2003. He recovered and began singing again in october of the same year.

Unfortunately he never fully recovered from this, and will be deeply missed by everyone involved in music.
