Midi Mafia's Dirty Swift, real name Kevin Risto, was involved in a bike accident and was seriously injured.
The producer suffered a fractured vertebrae in his lower back after crashing during an off-road biking practice at the Piru Motocross track in Los Angeles. He underwent a full 7 hours of surgery to combat the problems and the surgery has been said to have went well.
Dirty Swift admits that the accident may have been worse, but the full recovery process is still expected to be a couple of months at best. Meanwhile he was in Los Angeles working with Hayes on the new album.
Dirty Swift is being cared for at Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital in Valencia, CA and will be able to return home to New York in August.
Midi Mafia has produced tracks for Nelly, Miri Ben-Ari, Nore and G-Unit and 50 Cent, with the most famous of late being "21 Questions."
