Urban western ?ride or die? wraps up filming
(release date to be announced)
from jean-claude la marre, the creator of ?gang of roses? and ?brothas in arms?
new york (june 27th, 2005) ?ride or die?, a warning/nu-lite films production, has wrapped up filming and is coming to a city near you. This is filmmaker jean-claude la marre?s third installment in a series of highly successful urban westerns. With this production, la marre has neither sold himself short on talent nor on authenticity.
Sleek costumes and state of the art action (which include a martial-arts sequence), has insured la marre of another viable addition to the warning/nu-lite films movie library. ?ride or die? features an all-new group of sexy, female gunslingers: sarah kozer (tv?s ?joe millionaire?, playboy centerfold), kira madallo sesay (?go for broke 2?, ?cutthroat alley?, ?the giddeh?), and julia ling (tv?s ?buffy the vampire slayer?, ?silvergun samurai?), are some of the vixens shooting their way through the wild west. This is the directorial debut of chris w. Hill.
The girls have their hands full with the likes of outlaws such as lamont clayton (black rodeo star), raphael saadiq (grammy award winning co-founder of r&b group tony, toni, tone; in his theatrical debut), hawk younkins (wwe?s ?tough enough 2?, ?alexander- god and general?), and johann john jean (?go for broke 2?, ?gang of roses?). ?ride or die? is an action western packed with both grit and glamour!
Synopsis
when their sister is killed by a band of outlaws, an all-new group of sexy, female gunslingers is gathered, to avenge the death of one of their own. As the tension hits a fever pitch, the girls will do whatever it takes to right the wrong that has been done. War has been declared and with their backs up against the wall, it?s ride?or die!
