Ron Artest Shoots Music Video In Las Vegas

Posted on September 13, 2006 by

Baller and Rapper Ron Artest is shooting a music video for his single, "Fever," in Las Vegas on Sunday, September 17th and Monday, September 18th. The single is the first from his upcoming album My World, which will be released on October 31 and will be distributed in the United States thru WEA. Guest collaborators include Mike Jones, Juvenile, Allure, and others.

Artest has performed on several dates this past summer, including opening for Young Geezy on several dates in May and June, and opening for Fat Joe on a European tour, to extremely supportive and excited crowds. Artest also performed as part of the pre-event festivities for New York City's Hot 97 Summer Jam festival, and will also be opening for Ludacris September 21st.

While growing up in Queensbridge, New York, Artest surrounded himself with two things: Basketball and Music. Now that he has secured himself numerous accomplishments during his professional basketball career, Artest is now tackling his other love: Music. With tracks like the honest, no-hold-barred "Haters," the socially conscious "No Good," and crazy club bangers "Working The Pole," "Fever," and "Nasty North," Ron's album is sure to be a hip hop success. Featured artists on My World include Mike Jones, Allure, Challace, Braska, and others; featured DJs include Big Kap, DJ S N, and DJ K-Slay.
