Snoop Dogg Prepares New Album Release In 2008

Veteran West Coast rapper, Snoop Dogg, is set to once again bark on wax with the release of his upcoming 9th solo album, Ego Trippin.

The album, which is set to drop on March of 2008 on Doggystyle/Geffen Records, will be the ninth solo set for the multi-platinum rapper. The set's lead single, the up-tempo "Sensual Seduction," was produced by Shawty Redd and will feature Snoop pulling double duty, both rapping and singing.

"'Sensual Seduction' is like a throwback feel-good song," said Snoop of the new single. "I wanted to have fun with this one ... and the video is crazy!"

The video, which is set to premiere on MTV's "TRL" on November 28 and on BET's "106 and Park" the following day, will see the Doggfather transported back to the early eighties and amidst a slew of video vixens portraying desirable ladies of the past such as Vanity 6 and The Mary Jane Girls.
