The Game Released From Prison After Only 8 Days

Posted on March 10, 2008 by

The Game has been released from prison after serving only eight days behind bars; despite the initial period stated was 60 days. The Game walked free from Twin Towers Correctional Facility in California, following a charge of firearm possession in a school area. The incident allegedly occurred on February 24th 2007 at South L.A.'s Rita Walters Educational Learning Complex. The Game continued to protest his innocence, pleading not guilty to all charges in September. The Game then pled no contest since he was staring five years of conviction in the face.

The Game released a mix-tape, entitled BWS #3: Free Game prior to his prison stint with his Black Wall Street crew. The disc is the third in the series of mix-tapes and hosts exclusively new material from start to finish.

The Game is now preparing his third album, LAX, which will see him again come together with Dr Dre, though a release date has not yet been declared.
