Xzibit Makes Deal With Koch For New Album
Posted on July 25, 2006
Xizbit has inked a deal with Koch entertainment, in time for the preparation of his new album expected to be entitled, Full Circle.
The Pimp my Ride host agreed upon the deal but insisted on his own imprint which will be named Open Bar Entertainment. The first single from the album is set to be Concentrate, which he hopes will be a solid release. The single is expected to hit media outlets soon from the independant album which Xzibit foresees as an exciting challenge.
"After 10 years of being signed to a major label, I have learned a lot," Xzibit commented. "Koch Records is giving me the opportunity to put this knowledge to work. I am excited to be putting an independent record out through Open Bar Entertainment/KOCH Records and am looking forward to doing what I love to do best."
Full Circle is expected for a September 19th release, whilst he will also appear in a movie along side The Rock in the same month. The rapper is hoping to make a more impressive impact with this album than his last, Weapons Of Mass Destruction, which failed to deliver his true potential.
